A Conversation between Diandra Donecker (Griesebach), Lukas Kubina (Sorry Press), Lothar Schirmer (Schirmer-Mosel, and Jonas Beuchert (Edition Taube), accompanied by a reading from Agata Madejska. Reflecting on individual publishing practices and how art publishing has changed from the 1970s to today, this conversation will explore the potentials of collaborative ways of working — how galleries and independent presses can work together — and the political scope for artist books today.Aligning with these themes, following the conversation Edition Taube will host a book launch for Agata Madejska’s recent publication ‘Mistakes Were Made’, an artists book, co-published by Edition Taube and Belmacz London, which reworks the rhetoric of modern day political figureheads. This year’s series of Social Clubs is kindly supported by Grisebach.
Space is limited so please RSVP to guest@variousothers.com.
