The association for the “Förderung der Außenwahrnehmung Münchens als Kunststandort” (Promotion of Munich’s External Perception as a Cultural Location, VFAMK) is a non-profit association aiming to improve supraregional awareness of contemporary art in Munich and draw the attention of an international specialist public to the city’s art production and exhibition business. All VARIOUS OTHERS venues are association members. Each November the association reviews applications and votes to accept new members.
Apply for Membership
Munich galleries, artist-run spaces and institutions who are interested in participating in and becoming members of the association are invited to apply.
Please send your informal letter of application along with a short introduction and your motivation for contributing to the aims of the association by email to member-request@vfamk.org.
The deadline for new applications is November 20, 2022. All applications will be reviewed and voted on by the exisiting members. Newly elected members will receive confirmation in December. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
